Target Audience Pediatric healthcare professional including general pediatrician, pediatrics subspecialists, residents/fellows, nurses, and physician assistants.
Educational Objectives This activity is designed to change learner (pediatric provider) competency through specific education presentations by pediatric experts on primary care and subspecialty issues that frequently present first in a primary care setting. Presentations will include updates on significant vaccine preventable diseases and conditions, interventions related to injury prevention, specialty care guidance for front line pediatricians, and evidence-based health policy solutions to implement at the population level to address persistent and worsening health inequities affecting New Mexico children.
Accreditation This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Arizona Medical Association (ArMA) through the joint providership of the Arizona Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and New Mexico Pediatric Society. The Arizona Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics is accredited by ArMA to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
