Bishop Joel Konzen will join us to speak on Pope Leo's recent encyclical Magnifica Humanitas, which addresses safeguarding human dignity and promoting the common good in the age of artificial intelligence.
A member of the Society of Mary (Marist), he began his ministry in 1980 at Marist School in Atlanta, spending nine years there before returning in 1999 and served in various roles (teacher, admissions director, principal and president) until his episcopal ordination. He also helped found two Atlanta schools, Notre Dame Academy and Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School. |
