We are so excited to welcome you The Loveliest Village on the Plains! October 17th and 18th will be jam packed with amazing workshops and phenomenal keynote speakers, including Nancy Silberkleit. From a Public School Art Teacher to the boardroom of Archie Comics, Nancy Silberkleit is a dynamic presenter and she demonstrates the value of standing in the shoes of an educator. Auburn Engineering professor, Michael Zabala, intertwines the arts and engineering to give his students the most well rounded experiences. His is a keynote is not to be missed on Thursday morning!

Back to Auburn, Back to the Arts

Registration for our annual AAEA Fall Conference opens Monday, August 4th. Early bird registration will run through September 9, and the last day to register is Friday, October 4th.
The Awards Dinner and Prom will take place on October 17th and Workshops will run October 17 through October 18th in Auburn at Auburn University, the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art, and the Jan Dempsey Community Art Center.
Reserve your room online by using the link for The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center for $179 per night, plus $15 parking fee. Check out available 10/19.


  • A Pre-conference Meet and Greet will take place on Wednesday night- details to come.
  • You will receive an email to sign up for sessions ahead of time this year. Please do not miss this email. We want to make sure you understand there are space limitations for sessions and you get the sessions you want!
  • Awards Dinner is included in registration price. Any guests you have will need an add-on ticket. Lunch for both days is on your own with a terrific selection of restaurants in the downtown area and within walking distance. A restaurant list will be provided in conference materials. We will also have the snack table that was a hit last year!
