SUZANNE WESCOAT AWARD: BOB TONER

Help us salute an amazing individual who literally has clocked in thousands

and thousands of volunteer hours making a better Eastern Shore! Bob Toner, shown here participating in The Nature Conservancy & CBES Clean the Bay Day, has a volunteer legacy on the Shore few can equal. His efforts include working with the Eastern Shore of Virginia National Wildlife Refuge, the Eastern Shore Chapter of the Master Naturalists, and assisting in registering voters...

Presentation of the Suzanne Wescoat Award, named after CBES founding president, is not an annual practice. It is only given when CBES believes there is an opportunity to recognize a citizen who has uniquely impacted the Eastern Shore, and who stands as an exemplary example of community service.

Come out and shake Bob's hand!
