CIT-NJ 2-Day NJ-VRT Training November 12th & 13th 2025
This training is designed to equip first responders, with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively handle interactions with veterans who may be experiencing mental health crises or other challenges.
This Training incorporates elements of: Understanding Veteran Experiences Crisis Intervention Techniques Mental Health Awareness Resource Connections
The goal of NJ-VRT training is to: Reduce the likelihood of negative interactions between veterans & first responders. Increase the understanding and compassion shown towards veterans. Improve the outcomes for veterans experiencing crises.
