The most dangerous part of an employee's workday is when they're on the road. Just one work-related motor vehicle collision could affect your organization's productivity and finances, but more importantly, the health and future of your employees. The National Safety Council's curriculum uses the latest research-based techniques and examines driver behavioral patterns, attitudes and habits. Class sizes are limited to 25 participants and are taught by Chesapeake Employers' Safety Management Consultants certified as Defensive Driving Instructors through the National Safety Council. A completion certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the training.
Intended Audience: This driver training is a good idea for all employees who drive during work hours, have access to fleet vehicles, or especially post-incident. The class can help drivers reexamine their habits behind the wheel and make the right decisions to prevent collisions in the future. To register you must be a Maryland State Agency Employee OR a direct employee of an active policyholder of Chesapeake Employers Insurance.
There will be a nominal $7.00 charge per attendee to cover training books. Credit cards are not accepted. Payment via check only. After registration, an invoice will be e-mailed to the Point of Contact in the weeks leading up to the event. |
