The UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center shares a mission with the National Cancer Institute to improve cancer care worldwide through advancing research, training, and advocacy.
Dr. Katherine Van Loon of UCSF will present the keynote address. She is a specialist in gastrointestinal cancers with a background in public health. Her research is focused on epidemiology and outcomes in gastrointestinal malignancies. She also has a long-standing interest in global health and has studied the epidemiology of gastrointestinal cancers in low- and middle-income countries.
