Sedgwick Co. Extension staff are available to teach this course June 1-24, 2025 and July 21- August 1, 2025.
Students explore the importance of Kansas wheat, principles of baking, & yeast development. The classroom bread baking activity is available to groups of 25 to 50 youth and takes 75 to 90 minutes. Rising & baking time require an additional 70 minutes. Recommended for grades 2-5. Each $8.00 kit serves 4 students.. We recommend rounding up by 1 kit to account for spills or accidents that may occur during the activity. |
