| Join OWPP for a guided journey through the upper reaches of the Oconomowoc River Watershed on Friess Lake. This relaxed, community paddle is a chance to get on the water, explore the landscape that shapes our watershed, and connect with others who care about protecting our lakes and streams. Surprises await for the most unique items rescued from the water.
Launch time is 9:30 am at the Wild Marsh Launch located at 1470-1480 Lake Dr, Hubertus, WI 53033
The paddle will be followed by a lunch of hot dogs and brats, which will be served at approximately 11:30 am at the Friess Lake Fire Hall. A vegetable tray and other snacks will be available.
The event is free and open to all, but your RSVP is requested for planning purposes.
Please note that this is a Bring Your Own Canoe or Kayak event. Canoe and Kayak Rentals are Available. Contact KT Kayak Rentals, Clear Water Outdoor, Paddleboard Specialists and Sherper’s directly to reserve.
