This seminar is designed for teachers, literacy specialists, and special and general educators looking to strengthen their skills in implementing literacy instruction grounded in the science of reading.
We will review the Anglo-Saxon, Latin, and Greek layers of language, focusing on how to teach early skills from the Latin layer. We will explore how to introduce morphemes and incorporate them in an Orton-Gillingham lesson in a multisensory way with activities to enhance vocabulary and comprehension skills.
