| The meeting, potluck, and socializing will take place at the residence and property of Chapter members Bill and Paula Gregg near Cannon Falls, Minnesota. Bill will guide our hike, showing us the work he’s been doing over the past ten years, often with help from Minnesota Driftless Chapter work parties. We had our annual summer meeting at Bill and Paula’s place in 2022, and we’ll be able to see the restoration progress that’s been accomplished since then. This year, we’ll see the restored bluff prairie and oak savanna, a buffer strip along Belle Creek, a borrow slope used for construction aggregate, and a wooded understory where a “battle the buckthorn” seed mix was used.
Registering for this event will help event organizers track expected attendance and prepare tables and chairs for the weather. Anyone who registers will also be notified if there are any last-minute changes to the event due to weather.
Hope to see you there!
Date, Time and Location Sunday, September 27 - 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Bill and Paula Gregg's property at 13517 315th St in Cannon Falls, MN 55009 (MAP HERE)

Here is our planned schedule: 2:30 p.m. - Annual Chapter Meeting 3:30 p.m. - Guided Hike 4:30 p.m. - Potluck and Socializing
What to Bring Potluck In order to optimize the potluck dinner contributions, we're asking attendees to bring contributions based on the first letter of their last name:
- A-H: Side dishes/salads
- I-N: Desserts
- O-R: Appetizers or drinks
- S-Z: Main dishes
Of course, you may feel free to bring any of your other favorites!
Tea, iced tea, water and coffee will be provided.
We'd also like to minimize waste by asking attendees to bring their own reusable dishes, utensils, and drink ware. There will be a sink and dish soap on site for washing up afterwards. But if anyone forgets to bring their own tableware, we'll have backup items available for use.
Hike If you plan on participating in the guided hike, please dress accordingly which would include appropriate footwear. Bring your own hydration, and insect repellent wouldn't be a bad idea.
