| WHAT: Join Willamette Riverkeeper and the University of Oregon Outdoor Program for an on land cleanup effort as part of the 2025 Great Willamette Cleanup. We'll start at the Dave and Lynn Frohnmayer Bridge (aka: Autzen Footbridge), and we will work to clean along both south and north banks within the Whilamut-Eastgate Woodlands and the UO North Campus areas. Grab your walking shoes and get dirty for good! Afterwards, please join us for a volunteer appreciation party at Alton Baker Park (Eugene) at 1:30pm in the main event shelter.
WHEN & WHERE: Saturday, October 4, 2025 | 10AM - 1PM Please meet at the SOUTH CIRCLE of the Frohnmayer (Autzen) Footbridge (accessed through the North Campus gardens and millrace area).
DETAILS: Please be on time! We will disperse in teams to different sites after a safety briefing at 10AM. Please dress for the weather, bring water, sunglasses, and wear sturdy closed-toe shoes. Willamette Riverkeeper will provide trash bags, gloves, and trash grabbers.
