Join Stark Mountain Foundation for a family-friendly presentation “Owls and Their Calls” by the Vermont Institute of Natural Sciences on Saturday, October 3rd, at 11AM, on the 3rd floor of the Basebox at Mad River Glen.
We’ll meet live owls and learn about the sounds of owls in our local forests. This first-hand encounter allows us to understand the defining characteristics and adaptations for life as a nocturnal predator on the wing. Touchable artifacts and hands-on materials round out this special experience.
