| The 2026 TCU CI Workshop, hosted by AIHEC, will be held in person at the Hyatt Centric Hotel (615 2nd Ave South, Minneapolis, MN 55402) from June 23 - June 25, 2026. Travel days are June 22 and late in the day on June 25. (An evening visit to Red Lake Nation College’s Minneapolis campus is anticipated.)
The workshop agenda is being developed by the TCU CIO/IT Directors Community of Practice and will be shared when finalized. The draft agenda includes campus network presentations and breakout sessions on e-sports, drones, and artificial intelligence to support discussion of current and future CI initiatives across TCUs.
AIHEC will cover travel costs for at least one participant from each TCU; TCUs are encouraged to send their IT Director or Chief Information Officer (CIO). CIO/IT Director attendees are also encouraged to prepare a brief campus network overview presentation, including the current state of their network and any recent or planned upgrades.
Because the workshop is funded by an NSF grant (NSF #2514295), all attendees must be registered. Each TCU may register at least one participant whose travel expenses can be invoiced by the TCU campus or reimbursed directly to the participant after the event using the AIHEC reimbursement form. TCUs are responsible for travel costs for any additional participants. If some TCUs are unable to attend, AIHEC may consider reimbursing additional participants from represented TCUs. Please register using the link below by June 1, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. (EST), and include each participant’s name and campus role.
