Perimenopause Self-Study Activity

This self-study activity provides an overview of Perimenopause that is relevant to PT examination, evaluation, and interventions including the education and support of patients/clients receiving PT.

There are 3 video interviews of physicians, 1 TEDx Talk, and one 3-6 page AI compilation with scientific and professional references. Using the transcript and or closed captioning may be helpful for the videos.

At the completion of this self-study activity, you will be able to:

1. Modify exercises in PT plans of care and home program prescriptions based on perimenopause studies and articles provided.

2. Provide basic perimenopause self-care information as a component of PT patient/client education.

i) An applicant may obtain CE credit by taking correspondence or web-based courses, including pre-recorded professional presentations and pre-recorded webinars, from an approved CE sponsor. These courses shall include a test that must be passed in order to obtain credit.

Self-study tuition will not be refunded, credited, or transferred after August 31, 2026.
