| The 2024 WHAT THE HAIL? CONFERENCE will be held on February 8-9, 2024 at Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas in Irving, Texas. We will continue the two day seminar format – all day Thursday and a half day Friday morning (total of 12 TDI CE Credits). You will see that we have changed BACK to the name that everyone prefers: 2024 WHAT THE HAIL? CONFERENCE. We will still address a wide range of topics. Yes, most of the content will still focus on our two biggest perils – hail and wind. But we will also cover Texas freeze claims and all the other hot topics in the Texas first-party insurance claims process. Thursday will be the same fast-paced format with short 20-30 minute sessions that everyone has loved from past conferences. Friday will include longer sessions taking a deeper-dive into some of the most important topics we are dealing with right now (appraisal, fraud, concurrent causation, etc.). Come for either or both days! We will be holding a welcome reception on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 to kick off the conference at Reservoir (located in the Toyota Music Factory complex). And, of course, we will be once again add our legendary 80's Party on Thursday night for all attendees at the nearby Toyota Music Factory. The evening will include a reception, dinner, arcade classics, and concert featuring the best 80's cover band in the country: The Molly Ringwalds! Doors open at 6:00pm.
