The Anti-Racist Community Network (ARCN) presents:

Empowering Student Changemakers

Thursday, December 4, 2025, 4-5:45pm PT, 7-8:45pm ET

A free workshop

This impactful workshop, co-led by experienced educator Dr. Carolyn Strong and her insightful 10-year-old daughter Ever Strong, is designed to equip educators and school leaders with the strategies and frameworks necessary to cultivate the next generation of student activists. We believe that fostering student agency and empowering them to design and implement inclusive school programming is crucial for their well-being, academic success, and future civic engagement.

This workshop provides practical tools and inspiration, demonstrating how to guide your students on their path to becoming effective changemakers who champion spaces where all feel seen, heard, welcomed, and valued. Through an intersectional lens, we will explore how issues of white supremacy, white privilege, and other forms of oppression can be identified and challenged within both existing and newly developed school programs.

Presentation followed by Q&A.

Meet our presenters!

Dr. Carolyn R. Strong is a nationally recognized thought leader with over two decades of experience in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), educational leadership, and policy development. She has created a platform for transformative DEI initiatives across corporate and educational sectors, specializing in creating equitable systems, facilitating complex discussions on race, and developing strategies to close equity gaps. Dr. Strong has extensive experience in training and curriculum development, having designed and delivered numerous workshops and seminars on DEI topics. She is also a Six Sigma Yellow Belt in Racial Equity, demonstrating her expertise in using data-driven approaches to identify and eliminate disparities. At the end of the day, Dr. Strong strives to be the person she wishes she had, exemplifying her commitment to personal growth and making a difference in the world.

Ever Strong, a rising thought leader with a head for bright ideas and a heart for advocacy, is no ordinary 10-year-old. In her decade on this earth, she's already a certified yogi, a reiki practitioner, and a fierce social justice advocate. When she's not busy making the world a better place, you might find her perfecting her downward dog or channeling good vibes. With a little help from her family, Ever's decided to fight for what's right, not just for her own future, but for all of ours!

ARCN programs are offered FREE OF CHARGE. PLEASE help us to continue our programming with a donation. Any amount, large or small, will support us to continue offering vital anti-racist programs.

About the Anti-Racist Community Network (ARCN)

We are building a pathway to the emerging anti-racist, multiracial society…

The ARCN is a multiracial, anti-racist online community working to achieve racial justice and end white supremacy through activism and organizing. Our members want to be actively networking against racism and white supremacy. Through education and activism, we are working together for real and lasting societal change.
