Kansas City Area Bus to Arts Advocacy Day 2025

Join ArtsKC as we head to the Missouri State Capitol for Arts Advocacy Day 2025 hosted by Missouri Citizens for the Arts (MCA)! Your free registration includes a roundtrip bus ride between Kansas City and Jefferson City, lunch, and advocacy materials. The bus will arrive at ArtsKC at 7:00 AM and depart at 7:30 AM. We aim to return to Kansas City by 5:30 PM.

Below is a schedule of the day's events:

10am- Check In & Light Breakfast

Location: Room 490 in the Harry S. Truman State Office Building (301 W High St, Jefferson City, MO 65101)

10:30am – Morning Briefing

11:30am – Move to Capitol building for legislator meetings and regional luncheons

Location: Missouri State Capitol

MCA will have an alcove reserved until 2pm in the 3rd floor rotunda

12pm – Continued Meetings with legislators

1pm - Missouri Arts Council Awards
