WHAT: Join Willamette Riverkeeper and the City of Eugene Parks team to Spring For Your River with a cleanup by land starting at Maurie Jacobs and walking to Owosso Bridge, including River Road and Delta Ponds areas on both sides of the river.
WHEN & WHERE: Saturday, October 12th | 9AM - 12PM Meet at Maurie Jacobs Park. Park in the lot at the end of Fir Lane, which is th first right after Railroad intersection (1st Ave.) off River Road heading north. Whittaker neighborhood access with street parking is also available. Meet on the south side of the Valley River Footbridge.
DETAILS: Please be on time - we will disperse in teams to different sites after a safety briefing. Please dress for the weather, bring water, and wear sturdy closed-toe shoes. The City of Eugene Parks team will provide trash bags, gloves, and trash grabbers.
