During the summer solstice the sun appears to stand still and pause. This moment invites us to do the same, to reflect and exist in stillness and not-knowing.
In Zen there is the saying: not knowing is most intimate.
When we let go of the desire for certainty, something quieter, closer and more harmonious avails itself.
During sitting and walking meditation, we will explore stillness as our original nature, not as an absence of motion, and not-knowing as openness, rather than uncertainty.
