Meet The Presenters

Tim Doenges, PhD


Tim Doenges is a licensed psychologist at the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). He oversees a partnership between UCCS and Colorado’s 4th Judicial District Veteran Trauma Court, and conducts private practice psychological evaluations. Dr. Doenges previously spent eight years with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), where he specialized in comprehensive mental health evaluations and veteran‑focused disability assessments. His clinical work typically focuses on risk and needs assessment, diagnostic clarification, and functional assessment, with the goal of understanding of how military‑related psychological and cognitive conditions affect daily functioning, legal involvement, employment stability, and housing security.


Erin Fowler, MA, LPC, NMIT


Erin Fowler is a Colorado Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience as a trauma therapist. Erin specializes in working with combat veterans—primarily those from Special Operations Forces—and justice-involved veterans. She is trained in leading evidence-based treatments for PTSD, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE). Additionally, Erin is deeply committed to integrating creative and alternative approaches that foster resilience and recovery after extreme adversity. Erin is a Colorado Natural Medicine Facilitator in Training (NMIT) and an Auricular Acupuncture Technician (AAT), expanding her ability to offer holistic and innovative healing options.


Content Area: Beginner / Intermediate: Information that builds on knowledge practitioners with some experience already have. This course focuses on skill-building or adding knowledge, following a brief overview of basic information, and involves using information in concrete situations and understanding the underlying structure of the material.


Course Interaction & System Requirements: This live webinar presentation is interactive. Attendees & presenters may ask and answer questions throughout the presentation and participate in instructor-led discussions.

Course Completion and CE Information:

To earn CE credit, participants must be on time, sign in and sign out, attend the entire course and complete a course evaluation. This is a 1 hour course. Partial credit is not permitted. Must be present the full 1 hour to receive CE certificate. Certificates of completion will be emailed within 2 business days of course completion.


CE Statements:

Summit BHC, provider #2057, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 07/31/2025 - 07/31/2028. Social workers completing this course receive 1.5 clinical continuing education credit.


Summit BHC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7161. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Summit BHC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

CANCELATION NOTICE FOR PAID REGISTRATIONS: Cancelations are eligible for full refund if cancelation notice is given in writing (via email) 3 days prior to the event date. Refunds are not available for cancelations made within 3 days prior to the event date - registration fee is eligible for transfer to selected other offered training by this organization.
