| The 8th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Celebration is an “all ages,” free regional event taking place on Monday, January 19th from 4:00pm-6:30pm at Westborough High School, in the cafeteria.
This year’s theme is “From Dreams to Dialogue: Creating a Community Where All Belong” and will feature facilitated conversation for adolescents and adults, led by Dr. Kalise Wornum. Children are invited to a special interactive program taking place at the same time, led by the WPS Social Studies department and the WHS Black Student Union.
The event will feature a community potluck dinner. Attendees are invited to bring a special dish to share. Members of the WHS Fine Arts Strings Quartet will welcome attendees into the event and the evening will conclude with a special performance by Learning First Charter School's STOMP Team.
Live language interpretation will be available with pre-registration by January 7th.
The event is co-hosted by Central MA Connections in Faith (CMACIF), Westborough Interfaith Clergy, Westborough Public Schools and Westborough Connects.

La 8.ª Celebración Comunitaria Anual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. es un evento regional gratuito para todas las edades que se llevará a cabo el lunes 19 de enero de 16:00 a 18:30 h en la cafetería de la Escuela Secundaria Westborough.
El tema de este año es "De los sueños al diálogo: Creando una comunidad donde todos pertenezcan" y contará con una conversación facilitada para adolescentes y adultos, dirigida por la Dra. Kalise Wornum. Los niños están invitados a un programa interactivo especial que se llevará a cabo simultáneamente, a cargo del departamento de Estudios Sociales de WPS y la Unión de Estudiantes Afroamericanos de WHS.
El evento incluirá una cena comunitaria. Se invita a los asistentes a traer un plato especial para compartir. Miembros del Cuarteto de Cuerdas de Bellas Artes de WHS darán la bienvenida a los asistentes y la velada concluirá con una actuación especial del Equipo STOMP de la Escuela Charter Learning First.
Se ofrecerá interpretación en vivo previa inscripción antes del 7 de enero.
