| WHAT: Join Willamette Riverkeeper and the City of Eugene Recreation team for a paddling cleanup effort from Alton Baker Park to River House Outdoor Center. Bring your own boat or reserve a seat in one of our rafts! PFDs required. FREE!!! WHEN & WHERE: Tuesday, June 10th, 2025 | 8:30AM - 12:30PM Please meet at River House Outdoor Center at 301 N. Adams Street at 8:30AM. Please do not block or park in front of, or across the street from River House driveway. We will help load rafts and gear and use City shuttle transportation to come back to our cars at end of day. DETAILS: Please be on time! We will leave the River House immediately once boats and gear are loaded. We will shuttle with boats down to Alton Baker boat ramp and float to the River House eddy after a safety briefing. Please dress for the weather and getting wet (no cotton!), bring water, and wear sturdy closed-toe shoes. The City of Eugene will provide PFDs, trash bags, gloves, and trash grabbers. PFDs are required and must be worn at all times on the river to participate in this event. BYOB? Please unload your gear at Alton Baker Boat Ramp at 8:30AM and park your vehicle in the boat ramp parking lot. We will run you back up to Alton Baker Park at the end of the day to retrieve your vehicle. Please remember to bring your own safety gear and be proficient paddling in Class II moving water for this river segment! QUESTIONS?
