The Yellow Brick Road Youth Violence Prevention Conference (YBR) is a prevention-focused professional development experience designed to address the root causes and risk factors contributing to youth violence. The conference provides practical, research-informed insight into the issues most directly impacting adolescents and teens in today’s communities

.

Core topics include Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), trauma, mental health, substance use disorders (SUDs), and related behavioral health challenges that influence youth development and decision-making.

YBR is intentionally designed for educators, school leaders, behavioral health professionals, law enforcement,

juvenile justice teams, and community service providers—equipping them with tools, strategies, and collaborative

approaches to better support and protect young people.

Marc Fomby's expertise bridges prevention, public safety, and youth behavioral health—equipping communities with practical, evidence informed approaches to intervention and awareness.
