| Join us at MSPCA Nevins Farm in Methuen, MA for a full day on Community Outreach!
The MSPCA Team will cover three topics and offer a tour of their onsite pantry.
1. Community Outreach Overview and Organizational Impact In this session, learn about all the ways MSPCA is reaching their community to provide support and resources for not only pets, but the people in the community. MSPCA team members will share how the work they are doing in the community directly impacts overal operations
2. Incorporating Volunteers in your Community Outreach Program This session will review the different ways volunteers are able to support the MSPCA community outreach program; from transportation, organizing, distribution and everything in between!
3. Food Pantry Programs and Supporting Data: In this session we will discuss general food pantry how-to's such as donation sourcing, distribution, and partnering with your community to get supplies to families seeking support.
We will also review and discuss data the MSPCA has collected that dismantles the assumption that if you provide these services they will be overly exploited. We trust that when our community asks for help it is because help is needed. Let's discuss accessible food support together!
