Building Bridges: An Introduction to Working with Law Enforcement

Working with law enforcement is a crucial part of advocacy for domestic violence survivors. Building a trust-based relationship can be difficult for advocates and law enforcement, both. It's important that advocates and law enforcement work together to improve responses when serving victims of crime. This legal caucus meeting will provide advocates with strategies to positively engage with law enforcement and identify potential challenges of working with law enforcement and develop strategies to address those challenges.
