VDOT’s 1-Day Conceptual Cost Estimating Course is now being offered around the state by the Cost Estimation Office. This day long course takes the participants through the various steps of preparing a conceptual project cost estimate from determining the Purpose and Need all the way through to the Cost Estimate Package / CEWB. The course has been designed and is focused on professionals with 1 to 5 years of experience, charged with developing cost estimates for funding applications. This includes VDOT personnel as well as consultants and locality personnel. |
