2024 Emerging Teen Authors Writing and Publishing Camp

Know a young writer? My Word's got an award-winning writing summer camp and anthology. In this 5-week class (plus book launch and editor office hours) on Zoom, teens work with publishing industry pros to learn all about creating a book, from writing stories to working with pro editors and a cover designer. Early bird price of $499 until April 30. Scholarships available.

Participants will publish short stories and collaborate on a book with a brand new theme the writers choose. They brainstorm on cover design and work one-on-one with an editor. Past books from our camp have won awards! And there are guest coaches every week. This year's topics include: Exploring the Darkness, Absurdity, An Expert Editor Panel, as well as Cover Design.

When: Tuesdays, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. MDT, from July 2 to July 30.

Where: Via Zoom

Cost: Early Bird Tuition is $499 extended to May 7, which includes the class, working one-on-one with an editor, and book production. Scholarships are available for families in need. Price increases May 8 to $599. (Space is limited.)
