CORE stands for CACFP Operational Resources and Education. The CORE training is a practical training on 8 key CACFP topics for effective operations for CACFP sponsoring organizations.

This a fully immersive experience with an opportunity to participate in an interactive and engaging transfer of information that will be reinforced through learning activities and real-time practice. Throughout your learning journey, not only will you explore the 8 CORE topics, but you will also experience a module that specifically focuses on improving your trainer skills that will come in handy when training your front-line staff and sponsored day care homes and centers.

Topics include: Management Plans, Budgets, Financial Viability, Internal Controls, Recordkeeping & Claims for Reimbursement, Monitoring & Oversight, Serious Deficiency, Corrective Action, and Trainer Success
