Becoming Farm Stress Certified: A Unique Approach to Training for Mental Health Professionals

In this session, learn how a multi-disciplined team of Extension educators developed a continuing education model with their University’s College of Social Work to help licensed social workers and healthcare professionals meet ongoing rural community needs for mental well-being. “Farm Stress Certified” is a three-session webinar series that teaches the uniqueness of farm life, agricultural professions, and rural life so practitioners can better serve clients living and working in rural and agricultural settings.
