| The third hybrid workshop in the Powering Texas Energy Strategies: Summer Workshop Series will focus on the topic area identified as a top priority through completed regional surveys. Led by CAPCOG in partnership with SPEER, this session is designed to respond directly to the interests, needs, and challenges facing Central Texas communities as they plan for stronger energy and water management strategies.
Supported by funding from the State Energy Conservation Office (SECO), this workshop will take a deeper look at one high-interest topic selected from survey responses, such as communicating energy savings, understanding the energy-water connection, navigating funding opportunities, integrating infrastructure goals, or balancing community growth with livability. By centering the session on regional input, the workshop will provide practical, relevant information that local governments and community stakeholders can use in real-world planning and decision-making.
Who Should Attend: This hybrid workshop is intended for local government staff, elected officials, planners, facility managers, operations staff, sustainability personnel, water and infrastructure professionals, and community stakeholders interested in energy and water conservation.
It will be especially valuable for those seeking practical strategies, clearer understanding of available resources, and stronger alignment between local priorities and regional opportunities.
