MKM's vision is to improve the lives of all children in the community by giving them access to mindfulness skills that reduce stress and anxiety, develop attention and focus, promote emotional regulation and impulse control, teach empathy and compassion, and create a sense of well-being.

“The deepest principle in human nature is the craving to be appreciated.”  – William James

Shame is often an invisible emotion, yet it appears frequently in our lives. Shame interferes with our wellness. It makes us feel like we are flawed and not enough. Learning to work with shame can dismantle an array of difficult emotions.

During this free one-hour introduction, you will learn how to integrate evidence-based self-compassion resources to meet and transform shame in everyday life.

Based on the Mindful Self-Compassion for Shame program designed by Dr. Chris Germer and his team.
