Annual retreat for Teaching Elders and Commissioned Pastor RE's of the POA. Led by former POA TE Scott Graham, this year's retreat provides – an encounter with the beauty of God, an attribute largely ignored by evangelicals in recent decades. God is objectively good, true and beautiful, but it is the third transcendent attribute that C.S. Lewis states “has the greatest power over our souls.” Jonathan Edwards placed the beauty of God at the heart of his theology and preaching, and has some accessible and rich resources for us today to drink in our Lord’s glory and beauty. |
