Join Akron Press Club and Cuyahoga Valley Photographic Society at the Akron Art Museum for Robert Glenn Ketchum’s photographs of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Program will include an overview of Ketchum and a tour of the exhibit. From 1986-1988 Ketchum documented the Cuyahoga Valley. Ketchum’s large color photographs show the reality of the landscape at that time, including gas wells on farmland, industrial dump sites and graffiti. The Akron Art Museum commissioned the project, which resulted in the 1991 book, “Overlooked in America: The Success and Failure of Federal Land Management.” |
