About the presenter:

Julia Steele Rodriguez is Director of Global Training, Education & Services Marketing at Philips Ultrasound, where she leads a 17-member global team of instructional designers, trainers, and program managers. She is spearheading a major transformation of Philips’ education ecosystem, from modernizing global learning platforms to building innovative programs that directly fuel commercial growth.


With more than 15 years in healthcare technology and medical devices, Julia has built and scaled education and marketing functions at companies including Philips, Hologic, and Medtronic. She has led initiatives ranging from global key opinion leader programs to multimillion-dollar learning technology implementations, consistently focusing on elevating education from a cost center to a measurable driver of business value.



Known for her curiosity and future-oriented approach, Julia thrives on challenging the status quo and empowering her teams to grow. She believes leadership is about listening, experimenting, and matching people’s strengths with bold business opportunities. Developing people is her favorite part of the job, and she works to create an environment where learning leaders can stretch, take risks, and deliver impact.



Outside of work, Julia enjoys long-distance running and open-water swimming, reading widely, and spending time with her three kids.
