The Scottish Whisky Selection

Ardbeg Corryvreckan

Ardbeg Corryvreckan takes its name from the famous whirlpool that lies to the north of Islay, Scotland, where only the bravest souls dare to venture. Swirling aromas and torrents of deep, peaty, peppery taste lurk beneath the surface of this beautifully balanced dram. Like the whirlpool itself, it’s not for the faint-hearted! Awarded The World’s Best Single Malt in 2010 by the World Whiskies Awards.

Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban 14 Year

The Quinta Ruban 14 Years Old is a whisky journey into the wild – a dark and delectable forest where the wind whistles with gusts of peppermint and dark swirls of chocolate can happen at any moment. In our giraffe-high stills, it begins soft and fruity, then gets darker and deeper as we let it age for 14 years in bourbon casks and port casks from Portugal. The finished whisky is a thicket of voluptuous flavor combinations. Like stepping into a chocolate-minty-orange unknown, the journey is as delicious as the destination.

The Balvenie Caribbean Cask Aged 14 Years

The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been matured in traditional whisky oak casks before being transferred to casks that previously held Caribbean rum, for a final period of maturation. After 14 years it is ‘finished’ in American oak casks previously filled with a blend of carefully selected West Indian rums. Best enjoyed neat, on the rocks or with a splash of water to expand the flavor.

The Irish Whiskey Selection

Bushmills 16 Year Triple Wood Single Malt

Buckle up. Bushmills Single Malt Whiskey 16 Year Old is truly one of the great whiskeys of the world. Aged for about 15 years in a combination of Oloroso Sherry and bourbon-seasoned casks, and then finished for about 9 months in port wine pipes (large barrels unique to making port wine.) This single malt shows its layers of flavor, juicy fruits, nuts and spice, as well as a hint of ruby redness. It’s best enjoyed neat. Okay, maybe one small cube of ice to open it up.

Knappogue Castle 14 Year Old

Knappogue Castle 14 Year Old is the result of a marriage of 14 year old single malts aged in two types of wood: bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at 92 proof in limited quantities.

Tullamore D.E.W. 14 Year Old

Tullamore D.E.W. 14 Year Old Irish whiskey is a triple distilled single malt that has been patiently aged for up to 14 years in ex-Bourbon barrels and finished in 4 different cask types: old ex-Oloroso Sherry Butts, ex-Port Pipes and ex-Madeira Drums, for a minimum of 6 months for a perfect balance. This original triple blend is crafted in our state-of-the-art Tullamore Distillery, which brought whiskey production back to the village of Tullamore, Ireland, where it originated in 1829.
