| Are you ready to take your training facilitation skills to the next level?
The International Transportation Learning Center (ITLC) invites new and experienced trainers to attend a Train-the-Trainer Level 1 class November 16-20, in Kansas City, MO. This week-long, highly engaging Train-the-Trainer course gives participants the knowledge, skills, and confidence for facilitating instructor-led training and engaging learners. Course topics include:
- The Adult Learner
- The Effective Instructor
- Instructional Tools and Lesson Planning
- Hands-on and Classroom Training
- Assessments and Evaluation
Participants will have the opportunity to apply their new knowledge and skills through several practice training demonstrations throughout the week. Session Details Dates: Monday, November 16- Friday, November 20, 2026 Time: 8:00am – 4:00pm. Friday will adjourn at noon. Course Location: Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA): 1350 East 17th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64108 Cost: $2,000 per seat. Travel, meals, hotel, and all other costs are not included in the class fee. Class size is limited to 10 participants. Payment is due at the time of registration. Registration will close on October 15, 2026.

Area Information Kansas City is known for its barbecue, rich jazz history, museums, breweries, and vibrant downtown neighborhoods. The training location at 1350 E. 17th Street is just east of the Crossroads Arts District and near Downtown Kansas City, providing convenient access to restaurants, coffee shops, and entertainment. Popular nearby areas include the Crossroads Arts District, Power & Light District, River Market, and the historic 18th & Vine Jazz District. Getting around downtown is easy using RideKC bus service and the free KC Streetcar, which connects many popular areas and attractions throughout downtown.
