Kevin Kelly

CEO | Emerald Packaging Incorporated

Kevin Kelly joined Emerald Packaging in 1996, and became Chief Executive Officer in 2002, succeeding his father James P. Kelly who helped found the company. Under his leadership Emerald has become one of the pre-eminent flexible packaging companies in the West.



Kevin has twice served as president of the Western Plastics Association and is currently on its board. He is a recent recipient of the WPA’s highest honor, its 2013 Leo Shluker Award. Kevin graduated from California’s Santa Clara University and the London School of Economics. He worked for nine years as a journalist with BusinessWeek in the magazine’s Los Angeles, Dallas and Chicago bureaus. For over 15 years BusinessWeek, the former Fortune Small Business magazine and the Newsweek.com website published Kelly’s perspectives on running a business.

Hendrik Dullinger

VP Business Development | EFS-plastics US

Hendrik holds a master’s degree in international management and has 10 years of industry experience. He launched plastics recycling projects on three continents including Europe, Asia, and North America. His journey began in retail recycling where he designed and executed zero waste programs for a large global grocery chain. As Vice President of Business Development at EF-plastics, Hendrik is responsible for market strategy including supplier partnerships and converter relations.

Jean Bina

Director of Sales & Market Development | Envision Plastics

Jean joined Envision as Director of Sales & Market Development over 4 years ago, from a seven-year stint as Executive VP for Gertima S.A. de C.V, a Mexican based recycler of PCR. Prior to this, she served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Peninsula Plastic Recycling (sister company of Merlin Plastics) in Turlock, California. 

Jean has been a member of NAPCOR and of the recently established Thermoformers Council. She served as the Chairperson of the Market Development Committee for the Association of Post-Consumer Plastic Recyclers (APR), and has been a member of Plastic Industry Recycling Committee for many years. Jean earned her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, and her MBA from Western Michigan University.
