Construction sites present unique hazards that can lead to serious injuries or fatalities if not properly managed. The OSHA 10-Hour Construction Training equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to recognize, avoid, and report job-site risks. This training helps workers stay safe, reduce incidents, and maintain compliance with OSHA standards.

• Day 1: Thursday, November 5, 2026 Start: 9:50 AM | End: 3:00 PM
• Day 2: Friday, November 6, 2026 Start: 10:00 AM | End: 3:00 PM

✏️What You’ll Learn

• OSHA Standards: Understand 29 CFR 1926 and how they apply to construction work
• Hazard Identification: Recognize falls, electrocution, struck-by, and caught-in/between incidents
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Learn best practices to prevent injuries
• Worker Rights and Employer Responsibilities: Know your rights under OSHA
• Hazard Communication: Improve safety in materials handling and ladder use
• Risk Reduction Strategies: Reduce slips, trips, and falls on job sites

• Coffee and light refreshments will be provided in the morning. Complimentary lunch will also be provided. If you have any special dietary needs, please plan on bringing food/drink with you.

💵 Registration & Payment

• Registration Fee: $10 per participant (This amount is the exact cost charged by OSHA to issue and mail a physical OSHA 10-Hour completion card. Chesapeake Employers is a non-profit organization and will be covering all other costs associated with this class)
• Requirement: Training must be paid in advance to confirm registration
• Once registration is submitted, an invoice will be e-mailed to the point of contact
• Payment method: Prepaid by mailed check only
