| Course Summary: In a real-world attack, if you don’t MOVE decisively, you will die where you stand. This class combines movement, critical thinking, working from concealment, and delivering purposeful shots while focusing on getting to safety. As concealed carry holders, we respond to threats that have already unfolded or are happening right in front of us. The real question is: how do we manage the situation without getting shot? All drills will focus on the 7-yard to bad breath distance range, where real attacks occur, and attendees will practice moving off the “X,” shooting from compromised positions, adjusting to and accepting different sight pictures, and preparing for the worst-case scenario on that very bad day you pray never happens. To get the most out of this course, it's essential to complete this course using your everyday, normal carry firearm. If you regularly carry but your training and practice is typically conducted from a still position, you need to attend this class!
Prerequisites: Good basic knowledge of safe gun handling skills is a must (muzzle awareness, trigger finger discipline, etc.) and safe holster usage skills are non-negotiable. Students must be able to demonstrate that they are able to hear and follow given instructions and that they are able to safely draw, handle, and re-holster their firearm.
