The Jay Medal recognizes individuals whose life’s work illuminates our shared history through the highest caliber of authentic scholarship in the fields of American history and civic engagement.
Help us toast America at 250 and award the Jay Medal to Pulitzer Prize-winning author Annette Gordon-Reed, and award-winning Lincoln historian Harold Holzer. The Chief Judge of the State of NY and NY Court of Appeals, Honorable Rowan D. Wilson and historian, philanthropist Elihu Rose will present the awards.
