We will once again be at Forsgate Country Club and Rossmoor Golf Course in Monroe Township, NJ. So yes, three golf courses are needed again this year due to high interest in this event! GOLF DETAILS Golf Course Options We offer three courses that are in peak condition in early June and offer various levels of challenge. Please note that we attempt to provide everyone with their preferred course, but priority is given to NJWA annual and event sponsors.
Forsgate Country Club Banks Golf Course You better have a single digit handicap player in your group and bring your “A” game, or it may be a long and frustrating day! The historic Banks Course was designed by Charles H. Banks, one of America's celebrated "Golden Age" architects. Regarded as an architectural gem, the "traditional" design of the Banks Course features many holes inspired by some of the legendary Scottish courses, as well as Banks' signature steep and dramatic greenside bunkers. The course is frequently used for NJ State Golf Association championship events. To steal a line from Bethpage Black: “This course is extremely difficult and is only recommended for highly skilled golfers.” And all of this without even one water hazard!
Forsgate Country Club Palmer Golf Course In contrast, the scenic Palmer Course, which includes holes designed by Arnold Palmer, features water hazards on ten holes and is enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. However, adding an extra sleeve of golf balls to your bag would not be a bad idea! Rossmoor Golf Course This is a challenging 18 hole championship golf course with 3 lakes designed by golf architect Desmond Muirhea in 1966, a graduate of Cambridge University as a land planner and architect. We limit the course to 18 foursomes and provide complimentary hamburgers/hot dogs and snacks. This year Rossmoor will host the NJPGA Junior championship (June 30 – July 1). The Club is holding its annual Member-Guest Championships the week prior to our event so the course will be in superb condition. Date - June 10, 2025
