Arrival & Parking Terrace Hill is located at 2300 Grand Avenue, Des Moines.
Parking is available on Forest Drive, the brick street along the west side of the property, or in the parking lot at the corner of Grand Avenue and Forest Drive.
Please plan to arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your scheduled tour.
Terrace Hill is surrounded by a security fence. Enter through the gate by the flagpoles on Forest Drive, where an Iowa State Trooper will admit registered guests using our attendee list. After entering, proceed to the Visitor's Center (Carriage House) to check in before the tour begins.
Registration Information This event is exclusive to Des Moines Historical Society members. Advance registration is required. Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Your ticket includes admission to Terrace Hill and supports the Des Moines Historical Society's mission to provide engaging local history programs and experiences for our members.
