Geoff Shearer has been collecting and repairing radios since 1989. He focuses on smaller radios including Emerson cabinets made by Ingraham, mirrored radios, art deco plastic radios, and anything eye-catching. He started the Northern Virginia Radio and Television Historical Society in 2017. The intent was to start a museum showcasing his collection and to bring the history of radio and TV to the public.
Geoff will host small group tours of his collection Sunday, October 27, Sunday, November 3, and Saturday, November 16, 2024. Each tour will be limited to 10 ADSW members. Light refreshments. |
