Project WET Workshop: Groundwater in California (6810)

The California Project WET program, the San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE), the California Regional Environmental Education Community (CREEC), and the Water Education Foundation's California Project WET program invite educators with grades 5-12 to join us for a special workshop on California's Groundwater and Project WET Curriculum training.

Learn from DWR groundwater experts about California's groundwater resources and the role groundwater plays in California's water supply, including in the San Joaquin region.


Learn hands on activities from Project WET to bring groundwater and other water resource topics to your classroom. The interdisciplinary activities supplement existing curriculum, are correlated to Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards, and provide strong foundations from STEAM Project-Based, and Service-Learning programs.

For a $25 registration fee, participants will receive a copy of the Project WET 2.0 Activity Guide, a continental breakfast and lunch, an opportunity to receive 0.8 CEU credit - and a $120 stipend following completion of the workshop!
