Build My Future in Southwest Missouri is an expo-style event for eighth grade through high school students who are interested in, or thinking about, a career in the building-trades or manufacturing industries.

Employers and training providers will have hands-on activities in different areas of building trades and manufacturing for students to do to help them learn what is done on the job every day.

This is a FREE event for schools, but registration by Oct. 7 is required. After Oct. 7, please call 417-625-9914 for registration availability.

You may choose your arrival time and stay until the event ends at 2 p.m. Lunch will be provided. Students also will receive an event T-shirt, safety glasses and bag to carry information and items collected at the event.

Tech schools and sending schools: PLEASE coordinate before registering students to prevent double registrations.

Home-school students are encouraged to attend.

We require ALL participants of the event, including teachers and staff, to bring a signed liability release before being allowed to interact with any of the activities.

Instructors, please review the safety information with students PRIOR to the day of the event.
