| WHAT: Join Willamette Riverkeeper and the Willamalane Parks and Recreation District for an on land cleanup effort as part of the 2025 Great Willamette Cleanup. We'll start at Island Park, and work our way around the riverbank towards Eastgate Woodlands. Grab your walking shoes and get dirty for good! Afterwards, please join us for a volunteer appreciation party at Alton Baker Park (Eugene) at 1:30pm in the main event shelter.
WHEN & WHERE: Saturday, October 4, 2025 | 10AM - 1PM Please meet in the upper parking area of Island Park, at 200 W. B Street in Springfield next to the Willamalane Adult Activity Center.
DETAILS: Please be on time! We will get started at 10AM beginning with a safety briefing and clean up plan. Please dress for the weather, bring water, sunglasses, and wear sturdy closed-toe shoes. Willamette Riverkeeper will provide trash bags, gloves, and trash grabbers.
