WHY

Hospital Medical Staffs and Medical Groups are required to have a function which assists members impaired by substance use or mental illness to obtain necessary rehabilitation services. All medical staff members with leadership and governing responsibilities should have a working knowledge of how the required function is met.


WHAT

This 60-minute session will provide an overview of a medical staff’s charge, authority, role and function and will familiarize you with the resources and references you will use when more specific information becomes needed.

WHEN

Either:

Thursday, February 19, 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm

or

Saturday, February 28, 9:00 am to 10:00 am

or both.

WHO SHOULD REGISTER

Register several members of your team – especially new committee members and those new to leadership roles.

REGISTRATION FEE

Registration fee is $150 per person, with a reduced fee of $120 for each additional person from the same hospital/group who registers at the same time on the same registration form.

The registration entitles you to attend either or both sessions. Registrants can request the recording of a session.

Cancellation and refunds: For cancellations requested by email to CPPPH1@amgroup.us before February 17, 2026 at 11:59pm (PT), the registration fee can be transferred to a future program, or to another person, or refunds minus a $25 fee can be made. The request for cancellation should include your choice among those options. No refunds will be made after February 17, 2026.
