The Stanley Brown Safety Planning Intervention (SPI) is a brief, evidence-based approach designed to reduce suicide risk by helping individuals recognize warning signs, build coping strategies, and identify sources of support.
This training offers an overview of the tool and provides hands-on practice to help participants build confidence in using the intervention with people experiencing suicidal thoughts or behaviors.
Thanks to funding from the Vermont Departments of Mental Health and Health, VPQHC can offer this training free of charge to clinicians providing care for clients in VT. |
