Brain-based conditions such as FASD, Autism, ADHD, etc. are often misunderstood with expectations not matching the brain's ability. This workshop provides information about how Fetal Alcohol/Neurobehavioral Conditions (FA/NB) can affect the developing brain and in turn, impact behavior. Learn how to approach these behaviors through a brain-based, trauma-informed lens, reducing frustration and expanding options for therapeutic interventions. As caregivers and professionals, learn effective strategies and how to utilize them to empower those diagnosed with FA/NB. Become part of the solution to creating a more peaceful environment for their home and beyond.
